www.chinatrucks.com: JAC GALLOP Kuayue K7 of high quality, with powerful function and intelligent technological application delivers an outstanding vehicle performance. With nearly 20 function items and 1,270 performance index, GALLOP Kuayue K7 has become a masterpiece in the history of GALLOP heavy-duty truck.
Recently, breaking news come to Kuayue K7 that it will conduct a wind tunnel test. In “automobile wind tunnel”, strong artificial wind can simulate various situations in which air resistance, noises and thermodynamics situations appears in real road condition, in order to test sample vehicle’s safety and driving stability, minimize resource and energy use during driving, Thus it can help by creating conditions that are conducive to designing autos with more energy efficiency and beautiful profile.
In addition, in order to improve the performance of Kuayue K7, JAC technology center cooperates with Magna Steyr engineering center in Austria and Automotive Engineering Research Institute in China Automotive Technology&Research Center, and deeply integrates aerodynamic performance resources from both China and the U.S. Then an associated aerodynamic R&D team of high level and globalization is formed, aiming to improve Kuayue K7 in 3 phases.
R&D staff optimizes Kuayue K7 as a whole, ranging from exterior structures like roof, sunblind, gas curtain, and grill, to interior deflector in the compartment. The air resistance of optimized GALLOP Kuayue K7 is reduced by 15%, which equals to 7% decrease in fuel consumption. Meanwhile, it guarantees not only improved safety, but also outstanding stability even when travelling at high speed.
