Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Sees 45% Year-on-Year Growth in 1st Half
www.chinatrucks.com: In the first half of 2017, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle sells 296,000 units, up by 22.9% year on year, and the ranking in the industry soars to No.1, leading the overall market. The accumulative sales volume of medium and heavy trucks is 92,333 units in the first half year, up by 44.9% year on year.
Of course, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle doesn’t satisfy with this. From an insider’s point of view, the aftermarket of automotive industry is also a super profitable segment. The aftermarket of commercial vehicle is over 500 billion yuan per year.
As a leading commercial vehicle enterprise, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle has been deepening in the aftermarket. In the first half year, the pure sales revenue of commercial vehicle parts is 1.057 billion yuan, up by 4.5% year on year, which is 104.8% of the planned target and 95.8% of the challenged target. Only in June, the sales revenue reaches 166 million RMB, up by 14.1% year on year.
From 2010 to 2014, the pure parts business of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle grows rapidly with sales revenue almost 30% per year. In 2016, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle follows an innovative marketing and sees sales revenue of 1.8 billion RMB.
In the first half of 2017, the pure parts business of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle breaks through 1 billion RMB. Their target is to raise the revenue of pure part business to 3.6 billion RMB.
