Foton Daimler and Weichai Jointly Launch Two Auman Trucks
On April 19, Foton Daimler and Weichai jointly two Auman trucks equipped with WP13+ engines with 550 horsepower. One is Auman EST truck for long-distance logistic service and the other is Auman GTL heavy-duty truck.
In order to help truck operators improve their efficiency and profit margin, trucks with high horsepower have gained increasing popularity in the market. Against such a backdrop, Foton Daimler and Weichai joined hands and successfully developed WP13+ engines, which feature tailor-made production platforms, a wide range of power solutions, different fuels, cylinder braking systems, Super Fleet intelligent management solutions. Thanks to all these, Auman trucks are better positioned to meet ever demanding requirements from customers.
On the same day of their release, a grand ceremony was also held to mark the delivery of these vehicles to their customers. Two distributors also signed an agreement at the ceremony, aiming to increase their annual sales volume of the two truck models to 950 units.
Auman GTL heavy-duty truck has made visible improvements in 18 specific areas. With more powerful performance, higher loading capacity, higher safety standards and higher reliability, the vehicle is set to further boost the overall efficiency in the heavy-haul transportation market.
30 Units Fuzun Electric Buses to Start Operation in Heilongjiang
Recently, Jinma Motors Co., Ltd. (JMMC), a subsidiary of Jiangling Motors Co., Group (JMC) officially delivered 30 units electric buses to Heilongjiang Boli Hengshun Transportation Co., Ltd. According to the bus operator, these vehicles are scheduled to start operation in May, providing transportation services for passengers traveling between Qitaihe and Boli.
As a major tourist attraction and a transport hub in east Heilongjiang province, Qitaihe attracts thousands of tourists each year. To meet the increasing demands for tourist transportation, Boli Hengshun is introducing a batch of new energy buses from JMMC.
Measuring 8.2-meter in length, Jinma electric bus is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries made by CATL. After getting fully recharged in just one or one and a half hours, the vehicle is able to drive 315 kilometers continuously. (www.chinatrucks.com)
