XCMG New Energy Vehicle Makes Big Splashes in China
On May 11 and 12, Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (XCMG) attended 2018 China New Energy Vehicle Industry Ecology Conference in Zhengzhou. Also at the conference, it exhibited its fist product EAA111 electric cargo logistic truck.
Boasting a loading capacity of 3.4 tons and a maximum speed of 95 kilometers per hour, EAA111 electric cargo logistic truck is able to drive continuously for 250 kilometers. In addition, its better maneuverability, attractive appearance, and luxurious design have aroused keen interest among customers. Some customers have also made a special visit to the headquarters of XCMG and expressed their strong desires for making purchases.
Since 2015, XCMG has been investing heavily in the new energy vehicle sector. In order to gain a firm foothold in the promising industry, the company has already established its own team for the production, development, sales and after-sales services of new energy vehicles as well as related spare parts procurement and management. In June 2016, it was granted permission for producing new energy vehicles by the government. Currently, it is the only enterprise in Xuzhou which is capable of producing new energy vehicles.
Attaching paramount importance to developing new energy vehicles, XCMG has successfully secured an order of 300 units natural gas powered heavy-duty truck. In addition, it has recently made several breakthroughs in the developed countries. By 2020, the company is expected to increase its annual production volume of new energy commercial vehicles to 10,000 units and its sales revenue to three billion RMB. (www.chinatrucks.com)
