47 Units Dongfeng LNG Sanitation Trucks to Arrive in Xinjiang for Operation
On September 10, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Xinjiang Co., Ltd. handed 14 units sanitation trucks over to Beijing Environment & Sanitation Group Xinjiang Branch. According to Dongfeng, this batch of vehicles will soon arrive in Urumqi for operation.
In 2017, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Xinjiang Co., Ltd. started developing LNG sanitation vehicles by cooperation with Beijing Jinghuan Equipment Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. In June this year, 8×4 self-dumping compression-type sewage trucks and semi-trailer compression-type sewage truck realized mass production.
By transporting sewage in sealed containers, both trucks are able to prevent any sewage leakage during the transportation. Moreover, as they are powered by LNG, they achieve much higher environmental friendliness compared with diesel powered trucks for same purpose. Statistics have shown that Dongfeng LNG powered sewage truck is able to help its operator cut fuel costs by over 45% compared with a diesel powered sewage truck. In addition, Dongfeng LNG powered sewage truck is readily able to work 12 consecutive hours continuously or drive 1,000 km continuously. (www.chinatrucks.com)
