SINOTRUK's Self-driving Electric Trucks Start Mass Operation in Tianjin Port
Recently, a batch of self-driving electric trucks made by SINOTRUK started their official operation at Tianjin Port, ushering a brand new era for the commercialization of driverless heavy-duty trucks.
On February 9, 2018, SINOTRUK signed an agreement with Tianjin Port for the development and pilot operation of intelligent self-driving trucks at the port. On April 12, the first driverless electric truck went into operation at the port. So far, the vehicle has been working smoothly for over 11 months.
In January this year, SINOTRUK successfully secured an order of four units intelligent electric trucks from Tianjin Port, fully demonstrating its formidable competitiveness in this emerging field.
