Dongfeng KL Crowned Chinese Truck of The Year 2020
The Dongfeng KL has been crowned the Chinese Truck of the Year (CToY) award 2020. The award announcement and presentation ceremony was held in Wuhan, during the China Commercial Vehicles show (CCVS) on November 2, 2019.
Based on the same rules of the renowned International Truck of the Year, the Chinese truck of the year award is presented for trucks introduced in the market over the past 12 months. The jury makes its decision on the basis of which truck that has contributed the most to safety, fuel economy, environmental footprint and road transport efficiency. Several important criteria are considered, including cab, comfort, safety, driveability, fuel economy and power performance.
Since introducing Dongfeng KL’s new generation truck on January 6, 2019, the new trucks has been proven to be outstanding and measures up to criteria standards in terms of design, safety, comfort and production processes, and sets a new benchmark for the Chinese truck market. Dongfeng was very pleased that they got selected for this award against a very stiff competition.
Dongfeng Deputy General Director Mr.Si Tu says they will continue to focus on providing leading smart logistics solutions and better product-life cycle experience. As Dongfeng has perviously promised “It is all about reliability”, They will strive to improve their product quality and expand both their home and abroad presence.
