Production and Sales of Medium Trucks and Heavy Trucks in July
www.chinatrucks.com: Statistics of CAAM indicated that Chinese truck manufacturers produced 197,820 units and sold 212,328 units of trucks (incomplete truck and semi-tractor and trailer included) in July, 2014, down by 3.57% and 7.49% respectively over last month, and down by 18.04% and 11% respectively year on year.
Production and sales of heavy trucks:
In July, the production and sales volumes of heavy trucks (incomplete truck and semi-tractor and trailer included) were 47,881 units and 50,618 units, down by 13.09% and 20.56% respectively compared with last month, up by 0.75% and 3.59% respectively year on year.
And top 5 heavy truck makers on sales were Dongfeng, SHANCMAN, SINOTRUK, Beiqi FOTON and FAW, that their sales volumes in sequence were 10,649 units, 7,820 units, 7,603 units, 7,434 units and 7,318 units, and they totally sold 40,824 units, taking 80.65% shares.
Top 5 heavy truck makers on production were Dongfeng, SHANCMAN, Beiqi FOTON, SINOTRUK and FAW, that their sales volumes in sequence were 9,676 units, 7,923 units, 7,270 units, 7,232 units and 6,581 units, and they totally produced 38,682 units, taking 80.79% shares.
Production and sales of medium truck:
In July, the production and sales volumes of medium trucks (incomplete truck included) were 16,207 units and 14,980 units, up by 17.74% and down by 12.47% respectively compared with last month, down by 23.68% and 31.09% respectively year on year.
And top 5 medium truck makers on sales were DONGFENG, FAW, LIFAN, QINGLING and SINOTRUK, that their sales volumes in sequence were 4,443 units, 3,492 units, 1,385 units, 1,381 units and 1,259 units, and they totally sold 11,960 units, taking 79.84% shares.
Top 5 medium truck manufacturers on production were DONGFENG, FAW, Lifan, Qingling and SINOTRUK, that their production volumes in sequence were 5,270 units, 3,286 units, 1,994 units, 1,802 units and 1,226 units, and all together they produced 13,578 units, taking 83.78% shares of the total 16,207 units sales volumes.
