Production and Sales of Light trucks and Micro trucks in September
www.chinatrucks.com: Statistics of CAAM indicated that Chinese truck manufacturers produced 226,384 units and sold 230,981 units of trucks (incomplete truck and semi-tractor and trailer included) in September, 2014, up by 23.85% and 16.81% respectively over last month, and down by 24.52% and 21.52% respectively year on year.
Production and sales of light trucks:
In September, the production and sales volumes of light trucks (incomplete truck included) were 110,516 units and 111,595 units, up by 26.03% and 19.57% respectively compared with last month, down by 35.42% and 31.18% respectively year on year.
And top 5 light truck makers on production were Beiqi Foton, JMC, Dongfeng, Jinbei and Great Wall Motors, that their production volumes in sequence were 19,205 units, 15,436 units, 11,668 units, 10,940 units and 9834 units, and they totally produced 67,083 units, taking 60.70% shares of the whole 110,516 units.
Top 5 light truck manufacturers on sales were Beiqi Foton, JMC, Dongfeng, Jinbei and JAC, that their sales volumes in sequence were 19,618 units, 15,978 units, 12,100 units, 11,673 units and 9,763 units, and all together they sold 69,132 units, taking 61.95% shares of the total 111,5951 units sales volumes.
Production and sales of micro truck:
In September, the production and sales volumes of micro trucks (incomplete truck included) were 42,809 units and 44,895 units, up by 19.82% and 11.74% respectively compared with last month, up by 0.04% and down by 0.3% respectively year on year.
And top 5 micro truck makers on production were SAIC GM Wuling, Chongqing Changan, Beiqi Foton, Dongfeng and Chery, that their production volumes in sequence were 22,359 units, 7,483 units, 5,013 units, 4,344 units and 1,324 units, and they totally produced 40,523 units, taking 94.66% shares og whole 42,809 units.
Top 5 micro truck manufacturers on sales were SAIC GM Wuling, Chongqing Changan, Beiqi Foton, Dongfeng and Chery, that their sales volumes in sequence were 44,895 units, 7,256 units, 5,077 units, 4,747 units and 1,324 units, and all together they sold 42,091 units, taking 93.75% shares of the total 44,895 units sales volumes.
