The automaker predicted industry car and truck sales fell to 13.5 million in 2008, a nearly 20 percent drop from a year earlier — but that forecast was optimistic compared to others.
BorgWarner Inc., up $1.19 at $22.96
The automotive supplier rejected a mini-tender offer from private-equity firm TRC Capital, saying it undervalued shares.
Visteon Corp., unchanged at 35 cents
The automotive supplier said it will shift more than 2,000 workers to a four-day week and cut their pay by 20 percent.
Dynegy Inc., up 38 cents at $2.38
The power producer said it will dissolve a joint venture with LS Power Associates due to constrained credit markets.

Wynn Resorts Ltd., up $5.16 at $47.42
An analyst said shares of the casino and those of Las Vegas Sands are priced right, despite a slowdown at Macau properties.
Conn's Inc., up 90 cents at $9.38
The home appliance retailer is expected to post "solid" same-store sales in December, according to a Stephens Inc. analyst.
National Instruments Corp., down 47 cents at $23.89
The software maker lowered its fourth-quarter sales and earnings results below previous estimates and Wall Street expectations.
Evergreen Solar Inc., up 24 cents at $3.43
Shares rose, even after Piper Jaffray lowered its first-quarter estimates for Evergreen and four other solar companies due to demand concerns.
