Nanjing Iveco Yuejin peak selling in 09 light truck market
Statistics from China Association for Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) shows that Chinese light industry has maintain a continued growth, with a total of 744,800 units from January to June 2009. Among them, the sales of Nanjing Iveco Yuejin have reached a 35% increase over the first half year in domestic light truck market. And it has become a big highlight of the light truck market.
The overseas export sales in the second half year will be another new start in growth. The introduction of Europe version will be a powerful weapon in the international market. In addition, as a designated truck in the World Expo 2010 is another big advantage of Yuejin.
Xiao Guopu, vice president of SAIC Group has said that as a sub-brand of SAIC, Yuejin light truck is one of the main forces to seize the domestic commercial vehicle market. The growth of the overall sales played a significant role in the expansion of SAIC's Commercial Vehicle. And it may help SAIC to enter the first group in commercial area.
