Chaochai engine in the first quarter sells well
(chinatrucks.com, April 7, 2010) Diesel engine produced by Chaochai in the first quarter is 63,640, which has increased 72.5% by same period of last year; and the sales volume is 61,719, which increased 98.6% by same time last year. The production and the sales volume are all reaching the peak.
In order to cope with the strong competition in 2010, Chaochai has proposed the challenge goal of 21 annual sales volumes. The strong and complete measures shall be taken to make sure the sales goal will be realized smoothly, especially the measures taken for environmental friendly emission and dynamic engine. Four series products, including 102, 3L, D, and fuel gas, all can meet emission standard of Europe Ⅲ and Europe Ⅳ. At the same time, the new products, 4A series, are put in production at Hefei factory. Diesel engine produced by Hefei factory in the first quarter is 4,157, which increased a lot compared with 96 engines in 2009. The sales volume of diesel engine is 1,663, which increased 128% by same period of last year.
Chaochai has made a very good preparation, including giving the high volume proposal to the suppliers, and conducting risk evaluation of self manufacturing and procurement parts, and establishing the risk prevention, etc. Sales volume of Chaochai is keeping a rapid growing trend in April and the market demand is nearly 22,000.
