New plant of Dongfeng heavy truck is established
(chinatrucks.com, May 25, 2010) Foundation-laying ceremony of New heavy truck plant of Dongfeng commercial vehicle is hold in Dongfeng Industrious Garden on May 23th, 2010.
The new plant is taken 3000 square meters, and it gathered completely vehicle manufacturing, test inspection and commissioning. The advanced technology at home and abroad has been adopted and DCPW of commercial vehicle production of Dongfeng has been adopted. The overall planning capacity is 80,000, and the first production with 40,000 capacities are planned to begin on June, 2011, including the production f heavy truck of international quality.
It is predicted by experts that the new base of Dongfeng commercial vehicle will bring 2,400 million Euros after its establishment. The overall industry value will be doubled by 2015, and it will become the center part of advanced manufacturer industry, as well as the production base of auto parts and components and special purpose vehicles.
