Weichai Power and FAW have reached strategic cooperation
(chinatrucks.com, May 27, 2010) Twelve people in Weichai power, including CEO Tan Xuguang, executive CEO Li Dakai, Sun Shaojun, have visited FAW from May 18 to 20, 2010.
General Manager Xu Jianyi, vice general manager Dong Chunbo, and etc of FAW have received the visitors from Weichai during the visit period. The related responsible people have introduced FAW and current operation status of FAW.
Both parties have negotiated the agreement and reach common ground in terms of heavy duty engine and heavy duty transmission. “Strategic Agreement of FAW and Weichai Power Shares Co., Ltd” has been signed, and Weichai power has also invited truck assembly line of FAW.
The visit of Weichai Power has strengthened the cooperation relations of FAW and Weichai Power, and it has promoted the friendly cooperation of both parties.
