BAIC to Build Joint-venture in Russia

www.chinatrucks.com: It is reported that BAIC is to build a joint venture with Russian AMS Auto to produce commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles, mainly trucks, buses, mini buses and SUVs. And the agreement was signed on July 19 in Ulyanovsk.

Their preliminary agreement was signed in 2009, and the production capacity of the joint venture is 40,000 units and total investment of five bn rubles.
