www.chinatrucks.com: Michelin - the world leading French-based tire maker - like many multinationals in the 1980s and 1990s, was attracted to China by the size and diversity of its marketplace. Michelin started selling tires to China in 1988. For Jiangsu Yangzhou Auto Transportation Company, Michelin tires are always their preference tire products mainly due to its relative long entire life-cycle.
MICHELIN tire has done a great job in China with its good safety performance. Since 2002, the company starts to equip its fleet with Michelin tires. Fifty buses from 62 buses are equipped with Michelin tires. The mainly tire moldes are XZA 2E Energy tire 295/80R22.5 and X Coach Energy XZ 12 R22.5 tires. And these models of the tires are all with good quality without having any tire punctured.
The tire’s critical missions therefore involve grip and handling, which why Michelin systematically aims to deliver the best possible performance. Michelin is deeply committed to ensuring the safety of drivers, passengers, pedestrians and other road users. Moreover, MICHELIN tires also offer the markets longest tread life and improve a vehicle’s energy efficiency.
Michelin is continuously improving all of the parameters that determine tire performance. Although it would be easier and less costly to focus on just one of them, Michelin has long leveraged its advanced technologies to meet the challenge and overcome the difficulties of simultaneously improving all of the parameters that are essential for users.
The characteristic of every MICHELIN tire, “MICHELIN Total Performance” is a natural outcome of the Group’s strategy and informs every aspect of its research and development process. At a time when Michelin is renewing 80%* of its passenger car and light truck tire ranges in less than three years, this commitment is a guarantee of quality for its customers.
