Subtle Change in Joint Venture Projects of JMC and Isuzu
www.chinatrucks.com. As released by Ministry of Environmental Protection on Nov.30, the application for environment assessment from JMC and Isuzu has been officially accepted. According to the environmental impact statement, there will be some subtle changes in the joint venture projects of JMC and Isuzu, whose total investment reached 4.4 billion Yuan with annual planned engine productivity of 220,000 units.
The new round cooperation has been officially started with the signing ceremony between JMC and Isuzu on Aug.7. The two parties have been cooperated since 1993; JMC held 75% of the stock share while Isuzu shared the left. The operating period will expire in Mar. 2013 and the new cooperation has been reached, in which the two companies will hold 50% of the stock shares respectively.
As the environmental impact statement shows, subtle changes have taken place in the construction fund, which will rise to 4.4 billion Yuan for the total. The productivity will grow by 20,000 units to 220,000 units. Meanwhile, independent brands products from Isuzu such as D-MAX pickup, Mu-7SUV will also be introduced.
