Weichai Celebrates Ten Years Cooperation with Bosch
www.chinatrucks.com : A grand ceremony was held in celebration of the 10 years anniversary of the cooperation between Weichai and Bosch. Through the years, both parties are focused on providing Chinese customers with advanced low-emission diesel engines. Also, Weichai indicates that the company will employ high pressure common rail technology in engines of China IV standard.
Top management from both Weichai and Bosch addressed the ceremony. The two parties shared appreciation towards the cooperation. CEO of Weichai said in the telegram that the success that Weichai enjoyed in the past ten years has a lot to do with the strategic cooperation with Bosch.
In 1999, Bosch for the first time provided spare parts for engines of Weichai; in 2003, both companies signed into the co-developing of engines; in 2005, they began the works of engines matching; in 2010, the two companies partnered in the developing of EURO VI engines. Over the ten years, numerous achievements have been made.
With the rapid internationalization, Weichai expands the products range to the whole dimension. Bosch will be helping Weichai in developing more and advanced engine products. Both companies will make contributions to the developing of the Chinese auto industry.
