Beiben Considers Enter Indian Again with New Trucks
www.chinatrucks.com: It is reported by Indian Economic Times that the new administration pays more attention on infrastructure construction that Beiben considers to re-enter the market with new trucks.
The great potential of Indian market attract many China auto makers such as SAIC has introduced many auto models to the country by cooperating with GM Indian branch company and Great Wall Motors, the leading SUV maker in China, plans to introduce HAVAL H5 SUV to the market.
In addition, BAIC Foton will build plant in India in the end of this year and JAC Motors has expressed their willing to enter the market and build CKD plant to produce passenger cars, medium and heavy trucks.
With the growth speed in China market is slowing down and many China auto makers are focusing on overseas markets and India is rather major market.
"China commercial vehicle market is getting mature and we predict that there is no clear growth in four to five years,” said Amit Kaushik, Analyst from IHS Automotive, "on the other hand, India is perfecting their urbanization and infrastructure construction, so that many China truck makers are planning to enter the market.”
