Benz Trucks Perform well from Chengdu to Xi'an
www.chinatrucks.com: Benz trucks fuel consumptions for China major logistics lines started its journey from Chengdu to Xi'an on Sept. 4, and the average fuel consumptions are 33.6 L per 100 km after 12 hour running.
The G5 highway linking Beijing and Kunming are the most challenging roads during the test for there are quite a few steep slopes, curves, bridges and tunnels and there is 50km per hour speed restrictions during Qinling Mountains, and there is also long slopes for 1660 meters after starting from Mian County.
The truck started from Chengdu and the road to Mianyang is with quite a few hills and gradual uphill and fast downhill and they also encountered rainy days and this is big challenge for the drivers.
After 12-hour running, Benz trucks arrive in Xi'an ending the six leg of the fuel consumption tests.
The whole test is going to end and the truck has succeeded many challenges during the test and the fuel consumption data has been created even higher. And the fianl test will be operated from Sept. 18 to Sept 19.
