Dongfeng Sells 12,000 Medium and Heavy Trucks in Sept.
www.chinatrucks.com: Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company released the sales reports, and they sold 12,000 medium and heavy trucks in Sept., up 25% over last year and they sold 110,000 medium and heavy trucks from Jan to Sept. And the sales of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company is rather stable although the heavy truck markets is slowing.
Dongfeng Kingland and Kingrun heavy trucks are hot sales, and over 8000 heavy trucks were sold in Sept., up 26% over last month and over 80,000 heavy trucks were sold from Jan to Sept. And over 4,000 medium trucks were sold in Sept., up 23% over last year and over 30,000 medium trucks were sold from Jan to Sept.

And 53,000 heavy trucks were sold in Sept. in China, down 17% over last year, and it is not a peak season as usual, and the sales increased by 10% over that is in August, much lower than market expectations.

Apart from promoting sales of medium and heavy trucks, Dongfeng is making every effort on their overseas strategies, and they have shown their major truck during the IAA 2014, and they also joined the Volvo Ocean Race, and Dongfeng is getting more and more popular in world markets.
