Fast National Twelfth Research Project Successfully Passed Jury Evaluation
www.chinatrucks.com: Recently, Fast's national twelfth research project successfully passed the evaluation of a jury that is comprised of experts from thirteen institutions, including China Aerospace Science & Technology Corporation, Tongji University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, etc. The research project supported by national twelfth plan, Commercial Vehicle Transmission Manufacturing Application, were highly praised by all the experts.
Organized by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, the research project for the application of the Internet of Things for commercial transmission manufacturing was conducted by Fast. Ocean University of China also participated in the project. With discrete manufacturing enterprises, represented by companies of transmissions for commercial vehicles, as the research subject, Fast conducted thorough researches on the application of internet of things for the commercial vehicle manufacturing. The research is aimed at helping companies realize real-time monitoring and quality track and promoting the production efficiency of transmission producers and accuracy of supply chains. It also aims to help cut production and logistic costs. It will also provide some reference to other manufacturing industries for the effective utilization and integration of the technologies in the area of internet of things.
