Foton Attends Expo Transporte 2019 in Mexico
From October 16 to 18, Expo Transporte 2019, organized by Mexico ANTPAC, was held in Puebla. As one of the most influential vehicle exhibition, the event has attracted many well-renowned brands from all over the world.
As the only commercial vehicle brand from China at this year’s exhibition, Foton brought Auman EST-A heavy-duty truck, EST-M truck, Aumark S light truck, and the 12-meter Foton AUV CNG city bus on display.
At the press conference held by Foton, Zhao Mingliang, General Manager of Foton America, strongly recommended EST-A and EST-M trucks to customers. Pooling the latest technological advances from Foton, Cummins and ZF, Foton trucks and buses are set to make big splashes in Mexico. LDR, Foton’s distributor in the country revealed it would continue to strengthen its marketing efforts and improve customer’s satisfaction.
During the exhibition, 530 units Foton medium- and heavy-duty trucks and 37 units city buses were delivered to Mexico’s Ministry of Agriculture, which is the second largest customer after CEMEX in the country.
During the three-day event, Foton also secured deals with several Mexican customers with a combined order of over 100 units vehicles.
