Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Sold 58,000 Units Commercial Vehicles in 2019
On December 19, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor held its 2020 Business Meeting in Liuzhou. According to the company, it sold 58,000 units commercial vehicles in the business year of 2019, reaching a new record high. In the domestic market, its annual sales volume reached 56,300 units, up by 5% year on year.
More specifically, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor sold 23,000 units tractors, up by 14% year on year and it moved up to the sixth place in the industry; the sales volume of its long-head trucks ranked the first place in the market; the sales volume of its cargo trucks stood at 17,800 units, ranking the fifth place in the market; the sales volume of its engineering vehicles went up by 2% year on year, reaching 13,200 units; the sales volume of its special vehicles grew by 4% year on year, reaching 2,300 units.
Established 50 years ago, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor now boasts a wide spectrum of vehicle products. Its H7, T7, H5, T5, and M3 are just a few representatives which enjoy great popularity in the market.
In 2019, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor has upgraded its four major series products. Chenglong H7, with high fuel economy, won 2019 Most Fuel Efficient Heavy-duty Truck. Its sales volume stood at 19,500 units. Chenglong H5 trucks sold 22,000 units and Chenglong T5 trucks sold 3,000 units with a market share of 86%.
In 2020, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor aims to increase its annual sales volume to 65,000 units, including 26,000 units trucks, 20,000 units cargo trucks, 16,000 units engineering vehicles, and 3,000 units special vehicles.
