CNHTC Rolls Out New Series Transmission Gearboxes
With increasingly fierce competition in China’s heavy-duty truck market, customers have set greater demand for fuel economy, travel comforts and safety standards.
Against such a backdrop, CNHTC has successfully developed new series transmission gearboxes with a maximum torque of 2,500 N.m, which provide better gear transmission solutions for heavy-duty trucks with a power ranging from 450-600 horsepower.
With twin-layshaft arc gear in the main box and planetary deceleration gear in the rear auxiliary box, the new transmission gearbox achieves higher reliability and better maneuverability and generates less noise. In addition, it is readily compatible with hydraulic retarder, thus achieving more efficient braking.
