Weichai Engine Sales Exceeded One Million Units in 2020
At 10 a.m. on December 28, 2020, Weichai Group ushered in a new milestone that is the official announcement of the production and sales of engines in 2020 exceeding 1 million units. Under the cheers and witnesses of the employees, Weichai's 1,000,000th engine for 2020 was shipped to Shacman with a special delivery.
Compared with its sales volume in 2019, its sales has grown 33% this year. For the very first time, it ranks the first place in the global engine market.
In 2020, Weichai overcame the adverse effects of the epidemic and took the lead in resuming production, which also drove the rapid recovery of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain and demonstrated the role of state-owned enterprises in the face of the epidemic. 1 million units of engines are another brilliant result handed over by 90,000 Weichai people who "unwaveringly focused on their main business". The new goals stir up new impetus. During the grand "14th Five-Year Plan", all Weichai people will work tirelessly to inject new power into the high-quality development of Shandong's equipment manufacturing industry.
