It is predicted that sales of truck will be the lowest in July and Auguest, and it is rather hard to sell more than 60,000 trucks in a single month. On one hand, it is the traditional slack season for truck sales in July and August; on the other hand, the higher fuel prices, low freight rates and squeezing expense credits affect logistics markets. In addition, the newly released "Highway Safety Protection Regulation" delays truck purchasing and replacement to some extent.
Some industry insiders said that there is no clear favorable factors in the second half year, and sales of trucks may decrease by 15% to 20%.
And some others deem that sales of heavy trucks may increase clearly in Sept. and Oct.And the affecting factors include concentration expenses in the fourth season of financial budget and clearing of chargable highway.
