Weichai New Energy Commercial Vehicle, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China’s Weichai Group, was established on November 25, 2005. Specializing in the research, development, production, sales, and service of commercial vehicles, the company operates across multiple sectors including vehicle sales, leasing, freight services, and the trading of used vehicles. Under its premium brand, LANDKING, offers a comprehensive lineup of trucks, including medium, light, small, and MINI trucks powered by hybrid, electric, and hydrogen fuels. The company is committed to delivering integrated smart transportation solutions.
Key Milestones:
September 2018: Established Shandong Automobile Penglai Branch and launched the DeLong K3000 light truck.
May 2019: Rolled out its first light truck.
September 2020: Produced its 100,000th vehicle, with sales exceeding 10,000 units.
December 2021: Delivered 25,000 vehicles and received orders exceeding 35,000 vehicles, becoming a leading manufacturer within Weichai Group.
2022: Rebranded as Weichai New Energy Commercial Vehicles and launched its new premium brand, LANDKING on May 15.

In 2023, Weichai New Energy reached several key milestones, including the launch of the first purpose-built new energy light truck, a full range of light trucks with mid-mounted batteries, and a lifetime warranty on key components. It had also expanded internationally, exporting to the Philippines, introducing high-roof flat-floor light trucks, and launching the initial orders in Ecuador.
