Chery to promote light truck
(chinatrucks.com, August 23, 2010) Light truck program of Chery is settled down in Kaifeng after three years’ preparations. The coating production line opening ceremony in Henan Auto Company Limited of Chery Auto is holding in Kaifeng on August 5th, 2010.
It is learned by reporter that Chery Kaifeng program plans to produce 200,000 mini autos and 80,000 light trucks every year. It is disclosed by related expert that the sample auto of first light truck of Chery has entered trial production stage.
Chery is to be listed at market at the early of 2011. It is predicted that Chery will invest nearly 1 billion Euros, and the program will be completed by the end of February in 2011. The program includes the whole Kaifeng program with agriculture machinery and auto parts and components.
