Five China commercial vehicle enterprises enters global top 15
(chinatrucks.com, Sep 10, 2010) It is disclosed by report that there are five China commercial vehicle enterprises among the 15 global largest medium and heavy truck manufacturers, they are Dongfeng, FAW, Sinotruk, Foton and Shaanxi.
Daimler, Tata, Volvo and other manufacturers have also entered into the report. Production volume of Daimler was 259,000 last year. Production volumes of Dongfeng and FAW are respectively 191,000 and 181,000. It is learned by reporter that the reason of China commercial vehicle enterprises could come into the report because sales volume of China commercial vehicles are increasing and sales volume of Europe and America is rapidly decreasing.
Benefited from national investment, production volumes of China medium and heavy truck enterprises in 2009 are 909,000, and it has increased 22% by same time. It has taken 49% market share of global overall production volumes, and becomes the sole growing market in the world. Heavy truck is increasing so rapidly, and production volumes are 640,000, and it has increased 13% by same time.
It is predicted that production volumes of medium and heavy trucks in 2010 will reach 1,100,000. Europe and America markets will make great efforts to walk out of the economy crash in next five years, however, China will maintain the leading position of medium and heavy truck.
