(chinatrucks.com, Nov 26, 2010) It is disclosed by the responsible people in China area of Caterpillar that Caterpillar will strengthen the investment to three triangle region of Yangtze River, especially in Jiangsu, and it will establish the supply chain for R&D, production and sales.
There is more than 35 years for Caterpillar to develop business in China, and the architecture machinery, mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engine produced by Caterpillar are quite popular in China. It is learned y reporter that the three triangle region of Yangtze River is the important production, manufacturing and R&D base in China. Xiuming Zhu, the vice president and president of China region of Caterpillar quotes that “Jiangsu is the province concentrated with the most intense investments. Caterpillar Wuxi technology R&D center was established in 2009. Caterpillar Suzhou Company Limited was established in 2010, and the company in Xuzhou has been wholly controlled and expanded”.
