www.chinatrucks.com: Recently, FAW Jiefang Automotive Co., Ltd. Wuxi Diesel Engine Works (FAWDE) receives continuous overseas orders despite the fierce competition in the market. In March, sales for FAWDE’s engines increases rapidly, with engine’s monthly volumes exceeding 1,800 units, up by 12.5% over last month. The sales for engines equipped with FAW Jiefang heavy trucks are more than 300 units, realizing an increase in both sales volume and market share compared with last month. The product structure enters into a trend for developing in the direction of high technology.
Why does FAWDE’s sales volume show a growth acceleration trend? This was attributed enormously not only to FAWDE’s high price–performance ratio products, but also to its overseas marketing department’s intensive cultivation in the market. FAWDE’s engine export share rockets in FAW market. Only in March, the orders for FAWDE’s high-end engines exported to Middle East market equipped with FAW Jiefang heavy trucks are up to 140 units, while those with Qingdao Jiefang exported to South Africa up to 30 units.
What’s more, FAWDE exports its products together with vehicles from a domestic auto manufacturer this year, and receives a bulk order of more than 1,000 Conway engines from the manufacturer in succession, after gaining the first order of 263 Conway engines. Statistics shows that last year it sees an export volume of more than 3,300 of FAWDE’s engines that equipped with the manufacture’s vehicles. FAWDE’s successive bulk orders prove Conway engine’s performance superiority in fuel saving, high reliability and excellent adaptation.
In order to keep its service in line with international standard, FAWDE has provided its overseas customers with the most professional, convenient and satisfied sales service. The company has also improved overseas service in mode, established FAWDE service network, organized overseas central warehouse and agency. This year another two offices in Burma and Philippines are opened. Its overseas service standard is coming closer to reach the advanced international standards, further manifesting FAWDE’s determination to expand overseas market.
