Sinotruk HOWO Delivers 10,000 Units Dumpers across China
Delivery ceremony takes place almost every day and everywhere. However, tremendous volume such as 10,000 units is definitely one you’ve never seen in heavy-duty, even in the entire truck market in China. Recently, this happens to Sinotruk, who delivered as many as 10,000 units of HOWO dumpers across China.
Good sales are always connected with good product quality and performance. Then, what’s the reason behind the 10000 units order. Let have a look at it.
Sinotruk, a leading state-owned truck manufacturer in China, has been engaged in developing and manufacturing heavy-duty trucks since 1960 when the first heavy-duty truck--Huanghe JN150, came into being. Then, in 2004, they launched HOWO series and have always being a big hit.
“In the past 2017, Sinotruk produced a total of more than 180,000 heavy-duty trucks, of which about 10,000 units were HOWO dumpers”. At the same time, as many as 10000 units HOWO dumpers have been sold in the first two months, marking a good beginning for 2018.” according to the managing director of Sinotruk, Mr. Zhang Xiaodong.
On hardware, HOWO trucks are usually use MC11 engine and chassis with great bearing capability to deliver terrific performance. For example, T7H is exactly powered by MC11 engine with MAN technology. With a maximum power of 360-440hp and torque of 2100Nm, the engine could handle various tough road conditions in mountainous area. That will be very useful for customers from mountain city of China like Chongqing. This engine also offers outstanding fuel economy with its B10 service life up to 1,500,000 km. Its minimum oil consumption ratio is low to 186g/KW.h. and the engine oil don’t need to be changed until the mileage reaches 40,000 kilometers.
Except for its strength in power, HW transmission and hydraulic retarder are also offered to hook up to the driving system. Thanks to its main double shaft and sub-gearbox planetary gear, HW transmission can give a large speed ratio in first gear and take both the power and fuel economy into consideration. At the same time, hydraulic retarder, as an option, has facilitated to improve the braking effect and safety.
Customers tend to be more valued for chassis bearing capacity when they purchase a new dumper. Sinotruk Howo dumpers are equipped with HF9t front axle and AC16t rear construction axle, hooking up to NS07 rear suspension, applicable and strong enough for heavy load transportation of ore, muck and others.
