FOTON Delivers its 11 Millionth Vehicle -- TUNLAND V Pikcup
On April 13, FOTON’s “Together Win Future” global partners conference 2023 was successfully held in Beijing, China. More than 110 core distributors from 23 counries participated in the event. At the ceremony, FOTON delivered its brand-new pickup TUNLAND V to Mexico, which marks FOTON’s 11 millionthth vehicle.

TUNLAND V is FOTON’s first-ever pickup product to feature a hybrid power system with a peak torque of up to 450N.m. FOTON TUNLAND V combines FOTON’s numerous technical achievements and features a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link suspension structure to provide both strong off-road capabilities and luxurious driving comfort, with a high load-bearing capacity. It reduces fuel consumption by 10% through the use of automatic start/stop, energy recovery systems and ultra-high pressure combustion systems, with a maximum thermal efficiency of 50% and
Additionally, the pick-up truck is also available with the DHT hybrid system, electric and extended range electric systems with a maximum battery capacity of 100 kWh and a total driving range of up to 900 km for offering high performance, multiple powertrain options, long range and high torque.
In terms of intelligence, TUNLAND V is equipped with intelligent auxiliary driving devices like Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keeping Assist System to enable L2.5 autonomous driving.
With regard to comfort and safety, it has a 14.6-inch intelligent center screen, intelligent voice interaction system, and ambient light intelligent linkage to offer smart on-board services and an immersive experience. Its overall NVH performance has been improved by 15% and six airbags have been have been fitted in the driver and passenger positions to provide full protection for users.
In recent years, Foton has been making new moves in the pickup truck business, with the global launch of the TUNLAND G7 in 2021, the TUNLAND G9 in 2022 and now the TUNLAND V. One model is launched each year to keep pace with the changing market demand. The new TUNLAND V pick-up will be firstly launched globally in 2024 in markets such as Chile, Peru and Ecuador.
