Foton Appoints Inchcape as Its Official Dealer for Australian Market
On August 6, Foton Motor and global automotive leader Inchcape signed a key partnership agreement. Foton’s Overseas Division President Fu Jun and Inchcape’s Australia Managing Director Blair Read attended the ceremony. Under this agreement, Inchcape becomes Foton’s official dealer in Australia. This partnership marks an important step in Foton’s global expansion and brings more high-quality products to the Australian commercial vehicle market.
This deal is the first step in Foton and Inchcape’s global collaboration. They will combine Foton’s expertise in fuel and new energy commercial vehicles with Inchcape’s experience in distribution and market insight. Together, they aim to offer Australian customers a wider range of better vehicle options.
Foton’s Overseas Division Vice President Xu Chengxin said, “Australia is a key market for Foton’s global strategy. We will continue to focus on high quality and technological innovation to meet local needs. Inchcape’s partnership will give us new energy to offer better products and services in Australia.”
Blair Read, Managing Director of Inchcape Australia, said, “We are excited to partner with Foton. Foton’s commercial vehicles are a great fit for the Australian market, especially in the light truck sector. We will work with dealers to build a strong network and quickly respond to market needs.”
Inchcape operates in over 40 countries, using its market insight, advanced technology, and data analysis to improve customer experience and brand development. In Oceania, Inchcape is a benchmark in the industry with its diverse business portfolio, including brand distribution and customized financial services.
In the future, Foton will use its strengths in commercial vehicle research and manufacturing to work with Inchcape, exploring opportunities in the Australian market, driving global growth, and enhancing its brand, while offering more high-quality and high-performance commercial vehicles to Australia.
