100 FOTON Medium & Heavy Trucks Were Delivered to Senegal
Foton Motor has just delivered 100 Medium & Heavy Trucks to a major client in Senegal. This delivery marks the very first collaboration between the two sides and comes just as FOTON is about to celebrate its 28th birthday.
The client is a major construction company in Senegal, involved in various sectors including building, roadwork, public projects, and urban planning. They have purchased a range of Foton’s medium and heavy-duty trucks, including models like the AUMAN R and AUMAN C. These trucks are specifically designed to handle Africa's tough road conditions and demanding operations. With their excellent load capacity and powerful performance, they are ideally suited for infrastructure projects in Senegal and the surrounding areas. This will help the client speed up their work and get things done more efficiently.
With Senegal’s recent progress in infrastructure, the need for high-quality heavy equipment has grown. Foton quickly responded by designing and delivering trucks that meet these local needs, showcasing their market insight and innovation.
With these 100 trucks delivered, Foton is making big moves in Africa. They’ve just launched a new strategy that includes three 3-year plans to build up their products, networks, services, parts, finance, and talent. The goal is to become a top commercial vehicle brand in Africa. Foton will keep investing in Africa, using their quality products, reliable services, and strong local support to gain more recognition.
Foton has also made significant progress elsewhere in Africa. They’ve delivered over 100 AUMAN trucks in Ethiopia, signed major purchase agreements, boosted sales by 250% in Angola, reached dealership deals in Zimbabwe, and started the “Lighthouse Plan” in South Africa. The company is working closely with different African countries to grow their market share and advance the commercial vehicle sector.
As Foton celebrates its 28th birthday, the company is taking a more open approach and showing a lot of energy. They’re focused on improving product quality and brand presence, offering better products and services worldwide, and contributing to the international growth of China’s automotive industry.
