JAC Showcases T9 EV Pickup at 2024 EVA Frankfurt Electric Vehicle Expo
From September 10 to 14, 2024, the Frankfurt International Electric Vehicle Expo is taking place at the Frankfurt Exhibition Center in Germany. JAC Motors is presenting its newest all-electric four-wheel-drive pickup truck, the T9 EV pickup, offering European consumers an advanced smart and eco-friendly travel experience and showcasing China’s innovation in green manufacturing.
The T9 EV, built on JAC'new platform for large smart pickup trucks, stands out with its cutting-edge technology. It is equipped with the latest 88.02 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery from CATL, offering a driving range of over 500 kilometers. This makes it ideal for both everyday commutes and commercial uses. Inspired by the ancient Chinese tripod, its design is robust and angular. It includes dual-color aluminum alloy wheels and 265/60R18 tires, ensuring a balance of city comfort and off-road capability. Inside, the T9 EV boasts a passenger-friendly design with a 7-inch LCD instrument panel, a 10.4-inch central touchscreen, and ambient lighting, providing a high-tech and comfortable driving experience.
Under the hood, the T9 EV features dual motors with a maximum torque of 516 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8 seconds. It offers four driving modes—Economy, Sport, Snow, and Standard—catering to various driving conditions. The T9 EV has been well-received at the expo for its advanced technology and excellent performance.
The Frankfurt International Electric Vehicle Expo, often referred to as the “Olympics of the auto industry,” focuses on the automotive industry’s transformation and sustainable development. The expo gathers numerous global brands to present the latest electric vehicle technologies, attracting widespread participation from manufacturers and industry partners.
As innovative, low-carbon, and green vehicles become a new growth area for Chinese exports, JAC continues to uphold its commitment to green and low-carbon development. By leveraging technological innovation, JAC aims to drive sustainable progress and collaborate with global industry partners to explore comprehensive carbon reduction strategies, shining a light on Chinese innovation in Europe and beyond.
