The Production and Sales Report of Beiqi Foton in June, 2014
www.chinatrucks.com: On Monday, Beiqi Foton released its production and sales report of June, 2014.
On sales:
Foton sold 36,032 units of vehicles in this June, down by 29.26% year on year. In the product segmentations, the sales volumes of HD and MD trucks (incomplete trucks included) registered 9,994 units and that of light trucks (micro trucks included) was 22,307 units, down by 16.32% and 37.69% respectively year on year. Light buses were sold 2,691 units, while the company sold large buses and mid buses (incomplete buses included) 377 units in June.
In June, the sales volume of Ollin Engines and Foton Cummins Engines totaled 19756 sets, up by 28.55% compared with last June.
In the first half of 2014, Beiqi Foton sold 326,117 units of vehicles, down by 6.13%. Also, HD and MD trucks (incomplete trucks included) all together sold 70,972 units, up cumulatively by 9.48%; large buses and mid buses (incomplete buses included) did well in the cumulative sales with a number of 3,367 units, up by a whopping 93.84% year on year.
On production:
The company rolled out 36,653 units of vehicles and 22,946 sets of engines, down by 20.57% and up by 54.02% respectively over a year ago.
