China Sold 1.17 Million Units Heavy-duty Trucks in 2019
On January 13, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) released a report.
According to the report, China produced 498,000 units commercial vehicles and sold 445,000 units, up by 15.6% and 11.3% month on month, and up by 16.4% and 3.9% year on year.
For the whole year of 2019, China produced 4.36 million units commercial vehicles, up by 1.9% year on year, and sold 4.324 million units, down by 1.1% year on year.
More specifically, China’s production volume of trucks reached 3.888 million units, up by 2.6% year on year, and its sales volume of trucks stood at 3.85 million units, down by 0.9% year on year. In the same year, China sold 1.174 million units heavy-duty trucks, up by 2.3% year on year; it sold 139,000 units medium-trucks, down by 21.5% year on year; it sold 1.883 million units light trucks, down by 0.6% year on year; it sold 653,000 units mini-trucks, down by 1.8% year on year.
