FOTON Receives a Large Order from Italy for 400 TUNLAND G7
ITALY, MARCH 26, 2024 /chinatrucks.com/ --Europe, as one of the core markets in the world, has always been a place contested by Chinese automobile enterprises. However, if you want to enter the European market, you must obtain WVTA certification, which is considered to be the most valuable and demanding certification system in the world. In order to access to European market, FOTON Motor has been insisted on technology and product innovation and accelerated the transformation and upgrading of ecology and energy. Foton's new energy products, such as pure electric light trucks and pure electric vans, have obtained the WVTA certification, and now its pickup trucks have also passed the WVTA certification to officially enter the Italian market. Just this March, 200 units of TUNLAND G7 was delivered to Italy, the second delivery of the year, bringing the total delivery number to 400 units.
TUNLAND G7 has undergone road test for two years before getting the EU license. The pickup completed multiple test items including safety, performance, environmental protection and collision required for WVTA certification through continuous modifications and upgrades.
The TUNLAND G7 is an intelligent truck developed by Foton with the support of Super Power Chain. It combines world-leading technological resources and is designed to meet the needs of people in everyday life and off-road scenarios. TUNLAND G7 is equipped with the AUCAN diesel engine developed in cooperation with Ricardo, mated to a ZF 8AT/6MT gearbox, with a maximum power of 162hp and a peak torque of 388Nm, in order to provide high performance and low fuel consumption. It is equipped with a Bosch injection system that ensures compliance with the Euro 6E emission standard. With BorgWarner's 4WD system, it offers four driving modes, 2H/AUTO/4H/4L, making it easy to meet the needs in multiple scenarios. There are also 6 airbags, pre-tensioned seat belts, Bosch ESP and advanced driver assistance system in the vehicle to ensure your safety. It also boasts sedan-level interiors such as heated ergonomic seats and a 10.25 inch high-definition multifunction touchscreen to ensure a comfortable driving experience for users.
Foton has now built more than 70 sales terminals and service stations in Italy since its entry into the country in 2021. With "Flying Doctors" located throughout Italy, the professional technical engineers can arrive at the first time to help customers solve their problems, no matter where the customers are.
