Exports Surge by 157%! DFAC Exports 9,628 Vehicles from January to May

On June 8, Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd(DFAC) released the May 2024 production and sales data report for its various products. The report indicates that in May 2024, Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd sold a total of 11,615 vehicles, marking a 15.85% year-on-year increase. Among these, light-duty trucks sold 10,488 units, experiencing a 17.37% year-on-year growth; buses sold 911 units, showing a 7.43% year-on-year increase; however, the sales of non-complete buses decreased by 10.74% year-on-year, with 216 units sold. Looking at the segmented market, in May, Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd achieved positive year-on-year growth in both light-duty trucks and buses sales.

From January to May 2024, Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd accumulated sales of various vehicle models totaling 69,972 units, marking a 23.71% year-on-year increase. Among these, light-duty trucks accumulated sales of 64,318 units, buses accumulated sales of 4,700 units, and non-complete buses accumulated sales of 954 units. From a segmented market perspective, Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd achieved significant year-on-year growth in both light-duty trucks and buses sales from January to May, with growth rates of 23.74% and 56.09%, respectively.

In terms of new energy vehicles, Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd achieved sales of 1,079 units in May 2024, with a cumulative total of 12,330 units sold from January to May, marking a significant year-on-year surge of 109.8%.

From January to May this year, Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd has accumulated overseas exports of 9,628 vehicles, representing a significant year-on-year increase of 156.6%. Overall, during the same period, Dongfeng Motor Corporation's various business segments have shown a promising growth momentum.
