New trucks settle in Hong Kong army
According to SINOTRUK, on July 1, 2007, for the 10th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong, 30 new trucks made by SINOTRUK will settle in Hong Kong army.
It is reported that when Hong Kong returned in 1997, 70 styre army truck made by SINOTRUK settled in Hong Kong. In the pass 10 years, these trucks accomplished more than 100,000 times and covered a distance of 1,880,000 kilometers safely. In this replacement, HOWO8 is the only truck settled in Hong Kong army.
Compared with styre army truck, HOWO8 is matched with 10L engine, the cab is hanged by air bags, equipped protecting net, bulletproof glasses and ABS systems.
SINOTRUK made and sold 60000 trucks in 2006. The market share increased by 5 times, realizing a income of 21.9 billion, increasing by 53%. Now, the sale of the trucks above 20 ton ranks the first.
