China becomes world second largest commercial vehicle maker

According to data of OICA, China right behind U.S.A. became the second largest commercial vehicle maker in the world.
The top ten commercial vehicle makers are: U.S.A, China, Japan, Canada, Thailand, Mexico, Spain, India, Brazil and Germany. Compared with 2006, there is no Change in the rank for the top 7 vehicle makers. In 2007, India surpassed Brazil became the eighth largest vehicle maker and Germany surpassed South Korea by taking the 10th position. Total production volume of the above 10 makers are 16,441,300 units making 81.96% of the total production volume in the world.
