BYD T5 Electric Freight Delivery Truck Set to Make New Splashes
At 2018 Beijing Auto Show, BYD, one of China’s leading players in the electric vehicle market, officially revealed T5 electric Freight Delivery, arousing keen among customers both at home and abroad.
Chiefly targeted at inter-city short-distance logistic market, T5 further lowers its wind drag and enhances its energy efficiency. Measuring 5,995 mm in length, 2,050 mm in width, and 3,150 mm in height, the truck boasts a loading space of 17 cubic meters. It is an ideal choice for transporting consumables and other light-weight items.
Equipped with an electric motor mounted at the center of the chassis, two sets of lithium iron phosphate batteries which are mounted on the left and right side of the chassis, T5 can be fully recharged in 1.5 hours and is able to drive 300 km continuously.
Weight 4,720 kg, T5 can load 7,320 kg of goods. It fully meets various requirements for inter-city short-distance logistic services. In addition, it achieves higher reliability and higher safety standards thanks to its front & rear air-pressure disc braking system and horizontal stabilizer at its rear axle. (www.chinatrucks.com)
