Top 10 CV Makers Sell 1.79 Mln Vehicles In '08
China Association of Automobile Manufacturers has unveiled the country's top 10 commercial vehicle sellers in 2008, industry website caixun.com reported.
They were Beiqi Foton Motor Co, Dongfeng Motor Co, FAW Group, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co, Shenyang Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co, Chongqing Changan Automobile Co, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group(Sinotruk), Jiangling Motors Corp, Chongqing Lifan Industry (Group) Co and Shanxi Auto Group.
The top 10 commercial vehicle makers sold a total of 1.788 million vehicles from January through December 2008, accounting for 68 percent of total domestic commercial vehicle sales last year.
The top 10 CV makers for December 2008 were Dongfeng Motor, Beiqi Foton, Brilliance Jinbei Auto, FAW Group, Lifan Group, Changan Auto, Sinotruck, Jiangling Motors, Ziyang Nanjun Auto and Chongqing Qingling Automobile Co.
The ten CV companies sold 99,700 vehicles last December, accounting for 64 percent of the total.
