BYD Provides Real Zero Emission Vehicles
www.chinatrucks.com : MTA (metro), the largest public transporting company in California and second largest in the US, has approved a contract to buy 25 units of pure electric bus from BYD. Vice CEO of BYD expressed his appreciation towards NTA for its foresight as well as the willingness to cooperate. He also said the cooperation will provide more jobs for California, since BYD set up a headquarter and bus plant in the state.
As it’s learned, this is the first time MTA purchased pure electric buses for public transportation. And the buses are expected to meet the ever-growing needs in Los Angeles.
BYD, having produced thousands of pure electric buses in China, has received a big pushing forward by successfully sold their products in the US. And the company expects to expand more in more places in the world.
