Cummins authorizes AV Russia Company to use engine emission technology
(chinatrucks.com, July 1, 2010) The largest heavy duty diesel engine truck manufacturer in North America, Cummins, announces on June 25th, 2010 that the AV Russia Company, Cummins Kama has gained the authorization to use Cummins engine emission technology.
This emission technology of Cummins has reached Euro VI emission standard. Cummins Kama will apply this technology to produce cleaning engine in accordance with understanding memorial. And the newly developed cleaning engine will be promoted to Russian market.
Cummins Kama is an AV Company with 50:50 investments of Cummins Company and Kamaz Diesel Plant in 2006. Monthly production volume of B series diesel engine with 185-300 horsepower is 1000, which will be sold to Kamaz Diesel Plant and other completely vehicle plant in Russia.
