China pickups highlight overseas markets
www.chinatrucks.com: 326,000 pickups were sold out from Jan. to Oct., up 7.9%. Apart from domestic markets, overseas markets are more and more important for China pickups. Among which, sales of Great Wall Wingle pickups took 80%, and 28,984 Wingle pickups were sold out from Jan. to Oct., up 27%. Foton released their Tunland pickup, and Zhengzhou Nissan is making their five-year development plan.
Currently some main China pickup makers are capable of entering international markets. Take Great Wall for example, their first pickup was exported to Africa in 1998, and their pickups have been exported to European Union. And that is also how China auto industry develops.
