A New Truck Company is About to be Born

It is reported that Dongfeng Motor Company is going to sign an agreement with Volvo to set up a joint venture company. Dongfeng Motor and Volvo will cooperate in technologies to produce heavy duty commercial vehicles and special vehicles. According to the understanding memo signed by Dongfeng and Volvo, the joint venture company will be located in Wuhan. In addition to trucks, the new company will also produce Renault Heavy duty truck engines.
