Volvo to promote new light truck
(chinatrucks.com, June 29, 2010) It is learned by reporter on June 23th that East Europe market share has increased 20%, including Russian market and Turkey market. Volvo has increased production volume in Russian Kaluga plant, and is to expand the market share in Europe.
Renault is to promote a new light truck in 2010, and is planning to expand 50% truck production volume with heavy duty diesel engine.
At the same time, sales volume and interest of Volvo auto in Asia and South America perform the best. Increase rate of Indian market is stable, but not as strong as China market. Volvo group is the largest truck manufacturer among the overseas enterprises in China by the way of cooperating with the AV company of UD truck and Dongfeng.
It is predicted that sales volume of Volvo and UD trucks in China will reach 2000 in 2010.
